The Visa application procedure is made up of three steps. The first one concerns the form filling, the second one the request submission and the third the biometrics data capture. All the info about these three steps are indicated hereunder.

The Indian Visa Centre jurisdiction is restricted to Italian and foreign residents of the following regions: Valle d'Aosta, Piemonte, Liguria, Lombardia, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trentino Alto Adige.

 

Apply for your Visa - Form filling (1/3)

All Individual Visa seekers are requested to apply for the Indian Visa through online application form. No hand written application form will be accepted.

Seekers filling in the form are the only ones responsible for the data inserted and must accept the mentioned conditions. In case the data are wrong the form must be filled in anew - this is no impediment to the Visa issue. In fact the only valid form is the one submitted to the Indian Visa Centre.

The online application form is not managed in any way by the Indian Visa Centre but by the Government of India. Any technical problem falls outside the control of the Indian Visa Centre.

As already specified, the inserted info and data must be correct, so all seekers are requested to pay attention in particular to:

- mission/Office: “Italy – Milan”;

- surname;

- name;

- date of birth;

- passport expiry date;

- passport number;

- profession / occupation details: the applicant must fulfill all the blanck fields, even if these are not marked as mandatory;

- entries number and duration;

- colour photo correctly uploaded;

- reason for travel.

Once filled in and printed, the form must signed at two different places - one below the pasted photograph and the other one at the footnote. The signatures should match the one imprinted in the passport.

Apply for your Visa - Request submission (2/3)

After filling in and printing the form, seekers can submit their request - this is the initial step of the procedure.

The application form can be submitted either personally or with home delivery service.

 

Applying personally to the Indian Visa Centre

All seekers who intend to submit their request personally must visit the offices of the India Visa Centre, bringing with them all the necessary documents and the related fee in cash, in the timings and opening hours of the Centre.

In this case the request is submitted by post and the passport with Visa will be returned by courier.

Apply for your Visa - Biometrics data capture (3/3)

After 3 days from the submission of the Visa request at our office, every applicant must submit biometric data at the Consulate of India at the following time: 14:30 - 16:00.

In order to perform that request and give the least inconvenience, our staff is available at the Consulate offices from 14:30 to 16:00 to support applicants. Since the process can take a long time, before going to the Consulate, it’s mandatory to send us an e-mail to contact us to get an appointment according to availability. The e-mail must have as object SURNAME, NAME, DAY and TIME of the appointment.

Once the appointment is confirmed, the customer has to be at the Consulate in Milan at the scheduled time, where a member of our staff will be available for assistance during the procedure.

 

Visa issue

After the application submission, the procedure starts being processed and submitted to the Indian Authorities.

Once elapsed the requested processing time, the passport with the Visa is ready for pick up / home delivery, according to the chosen type of request submission.
